STDP2530 DisplayPort /Mobility DisplayPort Transmitter

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The STDP2530 is a standard DisplayPort or Mobility DisplayPort transmitter with an HDMI input targeted for notebook, mobile and cable accessory applications. This device includes a HDMI1.4 compliant receiver and a VESA DP Standard Ver.1.2a compliant transmitter.

It implements a single link DisplayPort output comprising four main lanes, an AUX CH, and an HPD. The STDP2530 also functions as a Mobility DisplayPort transmitter with one pair of DP main lane and a single-ended AUX_HPD for mobile applications. The HDMI receiver supports link rate up to 2.97 Gbps that corresponds to a pixel rate of 297 MHz. The DisplayPort transmitter supports HBR2 speed, a data rate of 5.4 Gbps per lane. The maximum video resolution is up to FHD 120 Hz 3D formats or 4K2K 30Hz when all four lanes are used or 1080p 60Hz when only one lane is used for Mobility application. This device delivers deep color video up to 16-bits per color in RGB or YCbCr color format and 8-CH audio transport. STDP2530 provides HDCP 1.x content protection both on the input and output port thus functions as HDCP repeater. It also supports the eDP authentication option ASSR (Alternative Scrambler Seed Reset) for embedded applications.

The MyDP standard is a digital audio-video interconnect based on the VESA DisplayPort standard for a mobile source device capable of streaming uncompressed audio and video. It uses standard 5-pin micro-USB or similar connectors commonly seen in mobile Phones and tablets for simultaneously charging and streaming audio-video to an external display.
